CAPS Subject Structure (Grades 10–12)

Students are required to take 7 subjects:

  • 4 Compulsory Subjects
  • 3 Electives (chosen from available options)

Compulsory Subjects:

  • Home Language (English)
  • First Additional Language (Afrikaans)
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
  • Life Orientation

Elective Subjects:
